Common questions
Is a waiver the same as not requiring a test?
No. A waiver has conditions and someone decides. "Not required" means the test is not part of the application. This tool keeps them apart because the difference decides whether you book an exam.
What usually qualifies someone?
Most commonly: years of work experience, a quantitative degree, professional qualifications like the CFA or CA, or a prior graduate degree. Each school uses a different mix, which is why we check all 194.
Should I still take the test?
Often yes. A waiver removes a requirement; it does not add evidence. If your case rests on quantitative ability you have not otherwise shown, a score is still the cheapest way to show it. That is a judgement call, and it is one worth talking through.
