Why this one exists
It asks what the question was first
An essay is an answer, and an answer can only be judged against what was asked. Paste the essay question too. The tool checks which of its key words never appear in your essay. Not answering the question is the most costly mistake, and no grammar checker will catch it.
Every finding shows you where
Not a list of counts you then hunt through. Your essay opens with each problem underlined in the text. Click a problem to jump to the exact words. Fix it there, and the counts update as you type.
It works whatever your first language is
146 rules across sixteen language backgrounds, split three ways: wrong anywhere, correct where you are from, and style. It never asks which one you are.
Common questions
Does it detect AI writing?
It counts ten signals that make a draft look machine-written and gives you a band, not a verdict. No detector is reliable enough to accuse anyone, and this one does not.
Is my essay uploaded?
The grammar, cliche and score passes run in your browser, and so does the editor — typing in it sends nothing anywhere. Your essay is never sent anywhere. The email form sends only its word count.
Why does it ask for my email?
The score, the length and the does-it-answer-the-question check are open to anyone. The working view — your draft marked up, every finding pointing into it, the editor — opens once you give a name and an address. It costs nothing, and it is asked once.
Will it write my essay?
No. An essay written by a machine reads like one, which is the problem this tool exists to find.
